I could almost see how those people feel then, really not much any different from today, minus the riot mobsters, though it could happen again and there are white thugs just waiting for that opportunities to happen.

Last Friday the YMCA had it’s 2nd annual Stand Against Racism day. What it’s trying to accomplish? Not sure, racism is embedded in their culture, in tough times they use this tools (racism) to take what they believe to be theirs adding propaganda and lies to meet their goals of being savages and barbaric towards other cultures.

If you aren’t familiar with Bellingham’s history, then read a brief of it below written by some white historian and from news clippings from the local newspaper like the Bellingham Herald which it too participated by encouraging the angry white men, and 100 years later the Bellingham Herald made an apology for it’s involvement of the 1907 Bellingham riots .

Today, the online Bellingham Herald will not edit or delete post comments which attacks articles relating to minorities, it seem to allow it probably claiming in the name of “Free Speech”. that local B’hammers will make derogatory comments when ever it sees a Hispanic/Black faces/Asian faces or names in the articles, and like whites don’t commit crimes in their neighborhoods?, oh really…

In today’s times downtown Bellingham companies do not hire minorities or just way below the quotas that other mid-size cities do which I will do an article in the future time when motivation is in gear.

Many immigrants worked in these canneries (as well as for companies that served the fishing industry, such as the Pacific Sheet Metal Works and the Fairhaven Shipyard). They came from Sweden, Norway, Slovenia, and Italy to work on ships and in the canning factories.

Chinese, Japanese, and Filipino workers also worked in the canneries. They often did the dirtiest, smelliest jobs like gutting and cleaning the fish. And they weren’t welcome in Bellingham itself: They slept in a segregated bunkhouse near the cannery. The racist attitudes that Asian immigrant workers faced sometimes turned violent. During the 1880s anti-Chinese violence flared across the West and in Bellingham, in 1885, civic leaders campaigned to drive Chinese workers away from the area. When they succeeded, the towns celebrated with a torchlight parade.

In 1907, a mob of several hundred white workers went to mills and boardinghouses along the Bellingham waterfront in search of the hundred or so East Indians who worked in the lumber mills. These men were furious because they thought East Indian workers were taking their jobs away by agreeing to work longer hours for lower pay.

The white men beat all the Asians they found and ran them out of town. The next day, the remaining East Indians in the city fled. Then anonymous letters began to circulate, warning that the Chinese, Japanese, and Filipino workers who stayed in Bellingham would meet the same fate. There was never another riot in the city, but the Asian population declined anyway. Canneries began to use a mechanical fish-cleaning device that eliminated jobs that many Asian workers had held. The Asian population declined from 600 in 1900 to 240 in 1910 to 69 in 1920.

The Bellinghammers are very proud of their forefathers, though very quite about it the hatred continues, instead of violence they deny minorities jobs and you can see this by going to downtown and other major companies, rural or urban, the fish house however does have a great concentration of minorities, mainly Hispanics, could be due to hard labor, low wages, wet and smelly condition. They got this all figure out, don’t provide jobs, they will go is the motto amongs the people here.

When a person gets called, generally they will ask the common questions and later will ask if you are currently employed and have transportation to work.

…Mind you every employer do ask those questions, but for Express Pros in Bellingham will never send you to work because you don’t have a job and a car even after telling them that a bus and a bike would just be fine, this is not acceptable to them. I have search or known this places where they send people and I would be able to get there by a bus and with a bike. I feel they just discriminate against people who don’t have a car, what’s odd is that if you don’t have a job is another reason for them to not hire you. A friend ask me why would they not hire you if you don’t have a job. Well, it goes this way, they figure you would quit and take their offering this makes you more refutable to them knowing that you already have establish something but maybe are just looking for something better in or different. This is their strategy that not only I came to that conclusion but other people I know told me.

Better yet, if anyone with a know-how-in-investigation to find this accurate, please try them out and see if I’m making this up.

At the WorkSource website they have been very active with job posting practically on a daily basis claiming to have work, one of this jobs gotta be accessible by a bus or bike, but you wont be sent to this because you don’t have a car.

This is the office for the officers in the jail tanks in most cases they aren’t there usually they are doing something else somewhere, so if you’re getting beat up or gang rape in your tank, one cannot assist on helping you, you become a statistic.
This jail has that of L.A county fell into it. You’ll notice that many of the inmates had been in and out of the system much of their short life and I can almost guarantee this homie calls this place home. Other inmates to survive the jail will often act-out what they had seen on t.v like the reality t.v shows. Much of this thugs know each other on the streets and if you aren’t one of them you best find a game of survival, kissing ass is not an option, though commissaries work on getting along with them, best to have money on your book. Another is to give some of your food to them or work out and show them what your made of.

Tank B

Tried making this diagram of the tank I was on base on my memory. Natural sunlight are block, place has a dungeon like feel into it and concrete flooring/ceilings have cracks on them, one good earthquake could bring this building down and cause some serious injuries

Not having a heavenHam in Bellingham.

Doctors were unable to reattach the right arm of a mentally ill man who severed his limb with a homemade guillotine in October at a transient camp in Bellingham.

At the time, officials did not say if attempts to reattach the arm were successful. Police disclosed the information Wednesday, Dec. 7, in response to a records request from The Associated Press.

The 32-year-old man remains in Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Spokeswoman Susan Gregg-Hanson could say only he was in satisfactory condition Thursday. His name has not been released.
